Gerard and Mikey recently participated in a photo shoot with Illuminate Parkinsons to raise awareness for Young Onset Parkinson’s. Prints of the photo will be sold online with proceeds to benefit a travelling gallery show documenting individuals with Parkinson’s. Learn more about the cause at IlluminateParkinsons.org.uk
I’m putting together a compilation of material from fans to MCR as a tribute to them, so you can submit any letters, photos, artwork or edits for or about My Chemical Romance. I need as many submissions as possible, so reblog and spread the word.
Followers, go check out this project and take part!
You can submit your questions for the band, here.

Love your blog but, wasn't Danger Days supposed to a be a rock album and not another concept album like Parade? If so - then choosing to do the video for The Kids for Yesterday would be fitting...wouldn't it?
Danger Days was a concept album which didn’t have a storyline in the songs like their previous albums did. The story of the Killjoys was told through the music videos, instead. We were told, on multiple occasions, that there would be a third Killjoys video, but there wasn’t. Instead, we got Planetary (GO!) - a video of the band performing and kids rocking out - and The Kids From Yesterday - a video collage of the band’s ten years.
I don’t ever post my own opinions on anything but this is just… no. I refuse to accept that video is the THE video.
I am disappointed, MCR. I expected you to end this album with something big. We all expected one last Killjoys video.
I appreciate that you have done amazing things in the past year - playing Reading and Leeds, the NME Awards, Yo Gabba Gabba - but we loved the world of the Killjoys the most and haven’t gotten enough of it. How does the story end? What happens to the girl, Show Pony and Dr Death Defying?
